Suitability test
In the suitability test, an asset (such as a property or ship) is modelled on a defined structure (e.g. as a closed-end fund) using a standard procedure, and subsequently analysed and rated.
The results of the analysis indicate the extent to which the asset is suitable for recapitalisation within the defined structure.
This service includes the following components:
- Comprehensive processing of key data to be used for modelling
- Conduct of a management interview
- Modelling of an asset structure on the basis of market standards
- Analysis and rating of the new asset structure
- Presentation and discussion of results
- If required, remodelling on the basis of adjusted parameters
- Summary of results in a final report and indication of recommended actions
Note: To avoid conflicts of interest, assets for which a suitability test was carried out by Scope Advisory are excluded from the official Scope Analysis rating process.
