Scope Analysis' benefits aim to achieve transparency and comparability and intend to publicise the quality of its products and services. Scope Analysis also aims to provide for publicity and transparency of their ratings and to further enhance them. For this purpose Scope Analysis has set up guidelines and also published rating principles. (Guidelines and rating principles of Scope Analysis GmbH *).
Within the framework of Scope Analysis' negotiated agreement, each employee, directly or indirectly involved with the rating analysis, has to declare periodically in retrospect whether any conflicts of interest occurred or currently exist. Equally, the managing partner is subject to this duty to disclose. The statement is effected by a written reply to a standardized questionnaire. Scope Analysis will report on any arrangements to implement the in-house requirements.
Furthermore, within the context of its transparency byelaws, Scope Analysis has committed itself for each analysis to publish any relevant information on independency, sustainability and traceability in a quarterly compliance report.
For each analysis, this information includes:
- The methodology used
- The bases for the analysis
- The date of preparation / update
- The analysts responsible
- The underlying business conditions
- Potential conflicts of interest
