Corporate Governance
The core values on which Scope is founded are independence and objectivity of ratings, transparency (and consistent traceability) of methodology and results, expertise and excellence in work as well as credibility and a high degree of continuity. Scope acts in compliance with the principle that ratings can only be reliable if they are grounded on complete independence.
Rating and Analysis
With its ratings Scope covers in large parts the market-relevant fields of rating: The group evaluates the economic stability of companies as well as the credit standing of corporate bonds. Besides, the company conducts ratings about the quality of capital investments and their management companies as well as a wide range of individual assets and their composition in investment portfolios.
EU Registration
Scope Ratings is a European rating agency registered in accordance with the EU Regulation No. 1060/2009 of the European Parliament and European Council. As the first group independent rating agency in the EURO Zone Scope Ratings has successfully completed the registration process according to EU Regulation No. 1060/2009. The company now holds the status of an Europe-wide registered “Credit Rating Agency” (CRA).
